I’m New To Vista And I Need Help On A few Stuff…!!?
thnx for even looking at this question,,,,
okay so i got my new laptop yesterday and before this i was using a macbook,,so ive been on osx for a long time soive kinda lost touch with windows and mind you vista is a whole new kettle of fish..
question 1
i installed lime wire and azurues (bit torrent manager)..and when i tried to use lime wire it dosent connect to the internet or itll just connect for about a minute and then disconnect anf after a log out of lime wire or azureus i cant even surf the net it gets all messed up,,,but after i restart the computer i can surf the net but i still cant run lime wire or azureus,,,,
and i use a wireless connection and i run limewire and azurues on my mac without a problem ,,so i have no idea on why the vista is not working..
i disabbled the mcaffe firewall,,

Vista sure can be tricky!
First I would have to say.. if you dont have service pack 1 (and im sure u do, since its a new pc) then get it because It fixes several programs.
The whole limewire issue is common.. if you MUST use limewire you should use the new version which is Frostwire. www.frostwire.com
I STRONGLY reccoment getting Blubster.. ive used it for years and its so amazingly better than limewire and its free and ive nver gotten a single virus or anything.
I had the same problem with limewire and mcafee together.. they def do not like each other.
