Would you recommend a fishing reel that’s quiet, or 1 that’s really loud to show off each time you’ve got fish
You see, I’ve been frequenting fishing pay ponds recently, and there’s this angler who’s reels are really really loud whenever a fish runs with his line. In fact, it’s soooo loud, every single angler there are able to hear it and drool dramatically, hoping they were the ones fighting with the fish.
So, I’m not sure, I think a lot of people make extra efforts in making reels that are as quiet as possible, but having that loud one, well, it’s more of showing off, feeling good and being able to make others envy I think, the satisfaction of being great lol
So, anyone’s got a good opinion on this? What do you think? Hopefully you’re an angler who really understands what i’m saying lol
I prefer a quiet reel, I have found out that the sound viberation of the reel can echo down your line into the water, which once in the water it can be amplified, and that can scare the fish. I learned this from exprience. Same prinicple as a aluminum jon boat without carpeting in it can cause excessive noise in the water.
