What can I do to get faster for lacrosse and football?
Lacrosse and football season is coming up and I really need tips on getting faster at running for these two sports. I wanna play middy and running back can anyone give me tips or a free website that tells me what I can do to get faster?
What you need to do is actually quite simple. You don’t need to do all these prissy skipping things. You want speed not be able to run a marathon. (Though endurance helps too- if you want endurance, just start running a few miles every day- 4 to 10 miles) Get a friend or do it yourself on working a stopwatch. Next, go to a park with a track of some sort. Run 200 meter sprints. Start for the first 5 days with 2 sets of 2 sprints, next five days should be 2 sets of 3, then 2 sets of 4. Your times should be below 34 seconds. Once you reach 2 sets of 4, keep doing the same thing from then on- 2 sets of 4. Get faster every day, work on your form. REMEMBER TO RUN ON YOUR TOES and PUMP THOSE ARMS!
